White House divided over Trump exec order against Twitter

US President Donald Trump, enraged by the Twitter firs ever “fact-check” label on one of his messages, signed an executive order aimed at removing some legal protection from social media platforms for perceived political bias. He said, “We’re here today to defend free speech from one of the greatest dangers.” Some White House staffers and conservatives have voiced concern that punishing social media by government action goes against the freedom of the press and companies and the right of Americans to speak their mind.
