US THAAD performs first rapid deployment drill in Israel

A joint US-Israeli exercise practiced for the first time in Israel the rapid deployment of the US THAAD missile defense system which is integrated as an equivalent of the Israeli Arrow Weapons System. The exercise, with more than 250 US crew members and air defense combat soldiers taking part, was completed on Sunday as a test of the integration of the US and Israeli systems.
