Trials begin in Riyadh of 11 suspects in Khashoggi murder

The trial opened in Riyadh on Thursday of 11 suspected killers of the dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Istanbul consulate in Istanbul last year. The prosecutor, Saudi Arabia’s attorney general, demanded the death penalty for five of the accused.
