Three killed in two separate restaurant explosions in UAE cities

The blasts hit KFC and Hardees restaurants in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi and Dubai on Monday, the day a US-Israeli delegation paid its first official visit. Three people were killed. The Abu Dhabi police initially attributed the explosions to gas leaks. They reported several minor and moderate injuries and extensive damage to the two buildings, forcing the evacuation of surrounding areas. “The relevant departments are dealing with the situation directly. We urge people to avoid spreading rumors, and to use official news sources,” the police warned.
