The man who stabbed 5 Jews in Monsey charged with 5 hate crimes
US federal prosecutors announced on Monday that Grafton Thomas, who is accused of stabbing five people with a machete at a rabbi’s home in Monsey, New York, on Hanukkah, has been charged with five hate crimes. One of the victims remains in critical condition. Thomas was charged with “obstructing the free exercise of religious beliefs by attempting to kill with a dangerous weapon and causing injuries.” He was revealed as searching his phone for information on Hitler and area synagogues before the attack.
