Strange GPS disruptions in Israeli air space

The government said on Wednesday that unexplained GPS disruptions in Israeli airspace are being countered by measures for ensuring safe landings and takeoffs from Ben Gurion international airport. The statement by the Israeli Airports Authority IAA) followed a report on Tuesday by the International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations that “many” pilots had lost satellite signals from the Global Positioning System around Ben Gurion Airport. The IAA confirmed disruptions in the past three weeks, which had only affected airborne crews and not navigation systems on the ground. Every effort was being made to locate the cause of the trouble and set it right.

Does Israel have to pay them $15,000,000 a month like they do to Hamas?

This is what happens when you show weak response to Terror and intimidation.

Actually several years ago when our (USA) drone was stolen from Iran they did it by jamming the GPS and sending false ones so it would land in the wrong area.

Sanctions are doing great work on Iran, soon they will either buckle or attack but they will do one.

Syrian and Russian S300/S400 batteries have BG Airspace fully within the envelope of their Mach 14 – repeat Mach 14 – long range surface to air missiles. Perhaps they are doing calibration tests of their acquisition radars – once a Mach 14 crosses the border it would be over BG in a smoking 18 seconds flat

Israeli papers reporting it may be Russian interference with the GPS – maybe some kind of EM jamming test of some sort or the S300/S400 systems radars.

It was more than likely the Americans doing as they were doing some “practice” jamming on Hezbollah equipment this week. Not a bad thing for Israel…and notice they had a way around it…conveniently! Russia is never going to target Israel with one third of its population being Russian. Full stop.
