Restaurants may open earlier than planned

Although the Ministry of Health preferred to delay the reopening of restaurants and cafes until next month, the owners and tens of thousands of employees under extreme financial stress may persuade the authorities to bring opening date forward to this week. Some have not waited for permission although most are sticking to ministry guidelines. Schools reopen on Sunday and Monday although heads say they can’t guarantee that all the kids will keep to the guidelines at all times. Sunday’s figures show 33 less active cases of coronavirus – 3,452, 59 severe cases, 48 on ventilators (one less) but another three deaths raising the total to 271.
