Netanyahu: Shin Bet foiled 70 terrorist attacks in July-August

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu praised Israel's Shin Bet internal security service at the Sunday Cabinet meeting, reporting that the service had foiled 70 terror attacks in the months of July and August alone against Israeli civilians and servicemen and women. He is scheduled to depart later today for a tour of three Latin American countries, Argentina, Columbia and Mexico, accompanied by a group of Israeli business leaders in the fields of agriculture, water, communications and energy. The prime minister will offer Mexico Israeli assistance in repairing the damage caused by a devastating earthquake.
