Israeli and US top soldiers hold first phone conversation

IDF chief of staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi talked on the phone on Tuesday with Gen. Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the US chiefs of Staff, for the first time since Gen. Kochavi’s appointment. According to the official communique, they discussed “operational issues of mutual interest.”
