Iran’s foreign minister Zarif resigns

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stepped down on Monday, announcing his resignation on Instagram. “I am apologizing you for all the shortcomings … in the past years during my time as foreign minister… I thank the Iranian nation and officials,” the veteran Iranian diplomat wrote. No immediate reason was offered for the resignation. Zarif was the driving force behind Iran’s 2015 deal with six world powers. US President Donald Trump pulled the US out of the deal last May and imposed tough sanctions which have brought the Iranian economy to the point of collapses.

Zarif is only the “fall guy” – there will be others.
But not until the donkey-brained gathering of ayatollahs are overthrown, will Iran and the rest
of the Middle East know more peaceful, prosperous and fearless life !
