First UN medical and food convoy enters East Ghouta

The 42 trucks of the first medical and food convoy to enter besieged East Ghouta in three weeks reached Douma, the most populous down of the enclave, Monday, although not all the life-saving medical supplies were allowed to be loaded on the UN convoy. UN officials said that lack of approvals and consensus among the warring parties, as well as the limited duration of a daily, five-hour Russian-ordered humanitarian pause, had made full aid delivery impossible.

I hope this convoy is thoroughly checked and no arms and explosives will be smuggled into Ghouta like it was the case with the Aleppo convoys…
