Ex-president Hosni Mubarak released

Egyptian sources report that a state security court has ordered the release of Hosni Mubarak, 85, who was ousted as president in Feb. 2011 and has spent two years in jail. He appealed against the corruption charges brought against him. He was sent to house arrest pending his retrial on charge of ordering the killing of civilians during the revolution against his rule.
