The Egyptian ministry of interior said Saturday that security forces had killed 40 suspected terrorists in three incidents in northern Sinai and Giza. A tourist bus was blown up a day earlier outside the Giza Pyramids, killing 4 people – two Vietnamese tourists and two Egyptian tour guides. A least 12 others were injured. Egyptian forces killed 30 terrorists in their hideouts in Giza, where “terrorist elements” were said planning a series of attacks on state institutions and tourists.
