American experts are overseeing a lightning operation for setting up either mobile sensor towers or electronic fences in Tunisia, Egypt, Jordan and Israel in a desperate bid to seal their borders off against the fast-moving ISIS impetus. Its reign of terror is spreading out from Iraq and Syria and creeping into southern Jordan, the Israeli Negev and Egyptian Sinai, then on to Libya and over to Tunisia and Algeria, covering a distance of 4,000 km. Egypt’s El-Sisi asked for the towers when the ISIS offensive in N. Sinai went into its second week unchecked.

Such action would be coordinated closely between Israeli and Egyptian military and intelligence arms. Friday, June 26, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) demonstrated the broad scope of its brutal reach by perpetrating terrorist attacks on three continents – Europe, Africa and Asia, in one day, the second Friday of the Muslim festival of Ramadan. The deadliest occurred at two hotel beaches in the popular Tunisian resort town of Sousse, where gunmen killed at least 39 holidaymakers, many of them foreign tourists - mostly British and German. One gunman was killed. It followed the atrocity at a US-owned French gas factory near Grenoble.

A decapitated body covered in Arabic writing was left in the factory and a severed head hung on the railings outside.Th attacker arrested with several accomplices was named as Yassin Sahli. Security has been tightened across France.
